Transformation is
a Human Problem.
I Solve It With You.
I'm Angèle Nisbett-Richards, an independent consultant and product strategy leader with 20 years of experience across linear, streaming, and connected TV. I partner with advertising technology companies, publishers, and retailers at pivotal moments: when the business model is changing, the stakes are high, and the path forward isn't yet clear.
Twenty years in this space taught me that transformation succeeds or fails on the human side of the work. It's the ability to lead through complexity with empathy and sound judgment, earning trust across teams, making sense of ambiguity, and keeping people and initiatives moving through the difficult middle of transformation.
I stay in the work until it delivers.

The Moments I'm Built For
Some engagements begin with a clear mandate. Most don't. The clients I work with are typically at an inflection point: they know something fundamental needs to change, but the path forward requires more than a plan. It requires someone who can lead through the uncertainty with them.
VIDEO ECOSYSTEM PLAYERS
Ready to attract performance marketers but need to evolve products, positioning, and internal capabilities to compete for that demand.
TV OPERATORS & MVPDS
Navigating the transition to linear programmatic, where the technology, the sales motion, and the business model all need to move together.
RETAILERS
Recognizing the value of first-party data and taking first serious steps into media monetization, needing strategic and operational expertise to build something scalable.
BROADCASTERS
On the ATSC 3.0 journey, working to harness the power of data and transform an ad business that has operated the same way for decades.
AD TECH FIRMS
Undergoing strategic transformation and needing CPO-level thinking and hands-on execution leadership without the overhead of a full-time hire.
If your business is at one of these moments, that's exactly where I do my best work.
How I Work
Every product engagement is different. But the way I show up is consistent.
I take the time to understand what a client and their market actually need before advocating for a direction. I ask the questions that don't always get asked, listen for what's beneath the surface, and synthesize before moving toward solutions. This is not hesitation. It is the methodical, strategic groundwork that makes the difference between a plan that looks good and one that holds up.
I lead with empathy. Transformation is felt by people before it shows up in frameworks, and I have built a reputation for earning trust quickly across teams at every level. I create the conditions where people feel heard, aligned, and equipped to move forward together.
I am steadfast in advocating for what's required. When the path gets complicated, and it usually does, I stay close to the work, the team, and the outcome. I navigate ambiguity without losing momentum and manage expectations honestly throughout.
I bring sound judgment to every decision point and an optimism grounded in experience. I have seen how these transitions unfold, and I know that the right combination of strategy, execution, and human investment gets organizations to the other side.
What clients can count on is this: I will be in it with them, persistently and purposefully, for as long as the work requires.
What I Do
I work with clients on the initiatives that matter most: the ones where the stakes are high, the scope is complex, and the cost of getting it wrong is significant.
My work is rooted in product development and product strategy: the disciplines that sit at the intersection of market opportunity, technical feasibility, and business outcomes.
Depending on where a client is in their journey, I engage in two ways:
As a Project-Based Consultant, I come in with a defined scope and a clear outcome in mind. Engagements are time-bound with the option to extend as priorities evolve.
As a Fractional Chief Product Officer, I embed more deeply into the leadership team, providing ongoing strategic and executional guidance during periods of significant transformation or growth.
In both models, here is where I focus my work:
When you need clarity on where to go
I develop data-driven strategic frameworks, conduct market research, and build rigorous business cases that give leadership teams the clarity and confidence to move forward.
When you need to evaluate a critical decision
I conduct technical and operational due diligence, surfacing the risks, gaps, and opportunities that aren't always visible from the inside.
When you need to manage a critical external relationship
I bring structure, accountability, and advocacy to vendor and partner relationships, ensuring the collaboration delivers what the business actually needs.
When you need to make sense of what you have
I craft overarching strategies that unite disparate product features and capabilities into a cohesive value proposition the market can understand and act on.
When you need to build the case internally
I develop the frameworks and narratives that secure executive buy-in and align stakeholders around a shared direction.
When you need someone to lead the work
I build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams, aligning people from disparate disciplines around a single mission and driving the work from concept through delivery.
If You're at One of These Moments, Let's Talk.
The most important conversations I have with clients begin simply with an honest description of where they are, what they're trying to achieve, and what's standing in the way.
If any of what you've read here resonates, I'd welcome the opportunity to learn more about your situation and explore whether there's a fit.
Contact me and I'll be in touch within 48 hours.
I work with a select number of clients at a time to ensure every engagement receives my full attention. If my calendar is currently full, I'll let you know and we can discuss timing.

Testimonials
"Having worked with Angèle for years, I have seen first hand how she can bring strategic clarity to complex, ambiguous problem spaces. Her process starts with deeply understanding both client and market needs, and then methodically defining the path forward. She aligns cross-functional teams around a shared vision — creating space for leaders to own their part of the outcome. Even in the most challenging transformational moments, her patience, persistence, and steadfast commitment to what great requires enable progress where others might give up."
— Kelly Perone, SVP Technology & Product, Comcast Advertising

"Angèle and I crossed paths during my time at Cablevision Media Sales. It was remarkable to see her navigate through the organization to get complex products and initiatives across the finish line. She brought both strategic clarity and hands-on discipline to drive our addressable advertising work forward. She led a major VOD Dynamic Ad Insertion initiative, navigating a rigorous RFP process and securing buy-in from senior leaders with remarkable focus and composure. She is the kind of partner who elevates everyone around her and makes teams more effective."
